This was an article I wrote about how Technical Artists can be integrated into an existing game development production team, and how we utilize them at Volition. This article has also been featured on Gamasutra.
Saints Row: How to build an open world city – GDC 2007
This talked about how we built Saints Row and the technical challenges it presented to the art team. The presentation was to about 300 people. Kenny Thompson was my co-speaker.
Saints Row Tools and Pipelines – Autodesk University 2006
This was a presentation on the various tools and pipelines we developed for Saints Row using 3dsmax. I gave this talk to a crowd of about 30 people.
